My GoogleReader has over 700 unread items in it.  I have been busy.

This week has been crazy–work has been crazy, life has been crazy, I have been busy pretty much every night.  I had to get off the faux-Accutane because I was probably going to go blind.  My dermatologist claimed that this has NEVER happened to any of her other patients (she did seem genuinely surprised that on the lowest dose possible, I was getting headaches, dizzy spells and having changed in my vision).  So back to square one with that.  Now I’m pretty much on my own, and could choose to get laser treatments, which basically do the same thing as accutane with fewer risks, it just isn’t covered under insurance.  Which seems immensely dumb to me.  I mean, you’re talking about a procedure that is overall less expensive, sounds like about equally effective and with a much smaller chance of extremely negative side effects.  Why does insurance not cover this???  Yet another mystery to our crazy “health” care system.

On a happier note, I went to six flags yesterday.  It had been about two years since I’d gone to any amusement parks, and it was loads of fun.  Really.  Roller coasters are totally exhilarating.  I love them.  I can’t stand the crazy people who are there, and I hate the environment, but I love the coasters.  I wish I could ride them without everything else.  But it is better than nothing.  So that was fun.  Stopped by the boyfriend’s parents house and hung out for a while, which was nice.  Went shopping, got some fun things (which it’s also been a while since I’ve done).  Fun weekend overall.  Then today, some chillaxing and website-making.

I’m excited to have this space to explore, and I already have a few ideas brewing that I just need to make a reality.  So look for some thoughts posting soon.
